Did you know that countless studies have shown that Boxing for Fitness is a great way to assist in many areas of health and fitness, including:
- Weight loss
- Muscle tone
- Muscular strength and endurance
- Stress Relief
- Improvement in hand-eye co-ordination
- Increase in cardiovascular fitness
- Motivation
Boxing is a great aerobic workout (which means it is good for your cardiovascular fitness). More importantly it burns a lot of kilojules. Take an average-sized person for example weighing about 68kg's boxing for 45 minutes, they can burn up to a huge 2000 kilojules in one session. That's why boxing burns more fat then most other cardiovascular activities.
Apart from burning a lot of kilojules, boxing is also a great muscle builder, it works your quadriceps (the front of your legs), hamstrings (at the back of your legs), gluteus maximus (your butt muscles), pectorals (chest) your deltoids (shoulders), biceps (front of your arm), triceps (the back of your arms) and best of all it gives your abdominal muscles a hiding!
Boxing with Achieve Personal Training is conducted in a controlled and safe environment where you'll learn the basics before progressing through to drills and circuit training. Regardless of your gender, both men and women both will enjoy the benefits of boxing for fitness.
